The Treasury & Finance Manager will ensure that Hyperoptic has a best-in-class approach to cashflow forecast, meticulous monitoring of covenants to ensure compliance with lenders' agreements, as well as effective cash management, interest rate hedge accounting, SWAPs payment coordination and thorough cash reconciliation processes. The role is a central point of contact for the company's financing operations.
What will you be doing?
1. Ensure Treasury related tasks are completed to a high standard, including overseeing the preparation of a weekly rolling 13-week cashflow forecast report
2. Manage day to day cashflow for the company, monitor all cash movements as required, including ownership of treasury and inter-company general ledger accounts.
3. Monitor loan portfolios, both inter-company as well as shareholder loans and other lenders, ensure timely communications to stakeholders at all times.
4. Maintain a treasury dashboard covering key aspects of various loan facilities, calculation & monitoring of bank covenants, preparing loan drawdown documents/ requests, and preparation & delivery of specific financial reports for external lenders. This role acts as the primary contact for banks & lenders.
5. Ensure accurate accounting for derivatives interest rate hedging, coordinate SWAPs payments, and appropriate perform cash management and reconciliation.
What we are looking for?:
6. Extensive experience of working in shared services / central finance role
7. Core understanding of Treasury operations
8. Strong Excel skills, ability to work with large complex data
9. Resilient: capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines and accepting feedback as a guide to develop and improve
10. ACA/ACCA qualification, SAP systems knowledge as well as knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS) and IFRS
