We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Engineering Lecturer to join our busy and professional Technology department where you will deliver teaching across our BTEC, T Level & EAL Level 1-3 qualifications.
Working closely with the Director of Learning, Programme Manager and the rest of the Engineering team, you will have the chance to share your industry knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College.
You will write associated assignments in line with awarding body requirements, and develop the programmes and associated course materials. You will also provide tutorial/pastoral support for your tutor group, promote attendance, participate in team meetings and support quality processes.
The successful candidate must have:
* A teaching qualification
* The ability to deliver teaching across Machining and Pneumatics & Hydraulics (Fluid Power)
* A minimum of a level 3 qualification within an Engineering based subject
* Significant Engineering Industry experience
* Previous teaching experience including delivery of the BTEC and/or EAL qualifications
* Experience of Quality assurance
