A truly exciting position where the successful candidate will be an Embedded business finance partner as the primary Finance interface to the business, part of the site leadership team, providing decision support, financial leadership, governance, simplification and talent management and proactively identifying internal and external opportunities and controlling resources. The candidate will need to demonstrate strong business acumen, bringing strategic insight, and rigorous analysis; be proactive in challenging and exceptional at execution. The role is part of a small team of embedded business partners on Site and has two direct reports. In this role you will: Provide leadership and counsel to Site Director and Site Leadership team by proactively identifying opportunities and raising challenges to meet business objectives and mitigate risks. Ensure adherence to challenging financial targets by close financial management. Drive and support strategic transformation goals for site, embedding productivity improvements and a culture to deliver cost reduction & working capital initiatives Proactively identify business opportunities and be capable of effectively assessing and proposing valid options to management, including strategic analysis Champion simplification projects and implementation of best practices eg. Digital solutions Accountable for risk identification and maintaining strong financial governance ensuring adherence to Finance Manual, SOX & Internal Control Framework requirements. Required experience and skills: Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or local equivalent) Broad experience within GSK across a range of roles within Finance Demonstrated financial knowledge of modelling, analysis, evaluation, forecasting, strategic planning, and decision making Broad knowledge of the pharmaceuticals business, accounting and finance, strategic and business planning, and budgeting. Experienced working with senior leaders (VP and SVP) Preferred experience and skills: Experience with the manufacturing and supply environment and systems, including cost accounting experience.
