An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and inspirational leader who will lead on the delivery of PSHE & Citizenship and to teach Religious Education. You will support the Assistant Headteacher responsible for Personal Development and the department leader to provide outstanding curriculum provision.
You will be:
· Able to lead the development of PSHE & Citizenship across the academy, including RE.
· Able to audit gaps in provision and provide proactive solutions.
· Able to inspire pupils of all abilities to achieve their highest potential in PSHE & Citizenship across at all key stages.
· Able to lead a team of high achieving specialists.
· Committed to planning & delivering consistently outstanding teaching & learning across PSHE and RE.
· Able to contribute to the strategic development of PSHE by implementing new initiatives, monitoring and reporting on key outcomes.
· Able to plan, execute and evaluate drop-down days.
· Able to plan CPD for staff delivering PSHE, to enable the sharing of best practice with others, in a constructive and collaborative manner.
· Able to liaise with external agencies who support the delivery of PSHE.
· Committed to delivering consistently outstanding teaching in RE and have the ability to share your practice with others in a constructive and collaborative manner, liaising with the Head of RE.
