The Role:
As a Programme Coordinator, you will work as part of a programme delivery team, reporting to a Programme Manager and supervising 1-2 Client Support Officers. You will assist clients through all stages of project delivery, ensure compliance with funding requirements, and manage reporting on delivery risks. Your portfolio will include 20 projects valued at £50m and contributing to a larger scheme worth up to £150m.
You'll focus on building strong client relationships, monitoring project progress, facilitating forecasts and payments, preparing contractual project agreements, and maintaining accurate project data. You will also support the Programme Manager in performance management, process improvement initiatives, and producing progress reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guide clients, such as Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, and universities, to deliver projects on time, within scope, and meeting requirements.
* Supervise Client Support Officers and ensure data accuracy in client relationship management (CRM) systems.
* Monitor project progress, manage risks, and support timely and accurate payment processing.
* Prepare contracts, reports, and presentations; ensure clients meet funding requirements.
* Contribute to organisational growth through process improvements and cross-team collaboration.
* Represent Salix at events and support promotional activities through presentations and materials.
Key Duties:
* Build strong client relationships, including onsite visits, and maintain accurate CRM data.
* Facilitate payments, generate accurate forecasts, and assist with legal documentation.
* Deliver written project work reports and presentations to key stakeholders.
* Lead and supervise a small team, managing performance and training as needed.
* Support organisational initiatives such as case studies, ministerial visits, and charity projects.
Qualifications Required:
* Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field.
* Knowledge and experience in energy services or sustainability is essential.
