Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. If you have a love for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
1. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs for children in the nursery.
2. Create a safe and inclusive environment where children can explore, play, and learn.
3. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
4. Observe and assess children's development, identifying areas for growth and providing appropriate support.
5. Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
6. Collaborate with other educators to develop curriculum plans and ensure consistency in teaching practices.
7. Manage daily routines, including meals, nap times, and outdoor play.
8. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and any incidents or accidents that occur.
Skills:
* Full and Relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
* Previous experience working with children.
* Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Leadership abilities to guide and inspire other educators.
* Drive to create a positive learning environment for children.
* Ability to effectively manage time and prioritise tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £26,800.00 per year
Expected hours: 27 – 45 per week
