Ambitious and experienced Senior Site Manager required to take the No. 1 role on a £3.5m new build SEN Block scheme in Surrey. The scheme is secured and due to commence on site shortly.
Reporting to the visiting Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all site-based construction activities, including:
1. Design coordination
2. Mid and short-term programming of works
3. Logistics
4. Health and safety
5. Review of method statements and risk assessments
6. Call-off of materials
7. Quality control
8. Client liaison
9. Coordination meetings
10. Reporting on progress against the program
11. Issue resolution
12. Management of site team including assistant site managers and engineers
13. Snagging and handover

About the Company/Client/Project:
The role is with the busy Surrey-based office of a larger main contractor group with an annual turnover for the region of circa £40m and a solid pipeline of work in Surrey, Berkshire, and Hampshire.
Scope of work includes education, commercial, industrial, care/retirement, and leisure sectors.
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management, and communication skills. A proven track record of work for a top twenty main contractor is advantageous.
Ideally, you will come from a trades, construction management, or engineering background with a sharp eye for detail and finishes. You will possess strong planning and problem-solving abilities, with a positive, 'get it right first time' approach.
You will also possess your SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications for this role.
