An opportunity exists for an Encapsulation Technician – based in Pulborough, responsible for the assembly of electromechanical products including the encapsulation process.
Duties
* Carry out all aspects of mechanical assembly work as part of the Encapsulation process including pouring, sealing, priming and conformal coating of assemblies.
* Carrying out routine checks, maintenance and cleaning of encapsulation machines, compressor, vacuum pump, maintenance, and filter change of spray booth equipment all in accordance with procedures.
* Planning, progressing and co-ordinating workload in accordance with production schedule and other internal customers, such as repair and design departments.
* Raising production paperwork including non-compliance/rework records and stores requisitions in accordance with company processes.
* Ensuring all quality procedures for build and workmanship standards and ESD requirements are implemented.
* Maintaining and improving housekeeping and cleanliness of work area.
* Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s Quality ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 Environmental Management system requirements and the Health and Safety Management System.

* Electronic component recognition.
* Understanding of mechanical assembly procedures and processes. Appreciation of modern manufacturing techniques. Good communication skills.
