Proud owners of an ISFM Silver Certificate Cat Friendly Clinic award, RAW Silver Rabbit Friendly award, a Compassion Understood bronze award and SPVS wellbeing award 2019, our practice in Dudley is now seeking a Clinical Director to join our wonderful team.
This role is the perfect steppingstone for an experienced vet to progress into a leadership role and inspire the current team in this exciting new phase of growth, whilst being instrumental in the direction the practice takes.
The practice itself is purpose built with some great facilities including operating theatre, 3 dedicated consult rooms, large prep area, x-ray room and isolation block with separate cat and dog kennels.
We have all the equipment you’d expect from a solid GP practice and would be happy to discuss investing in additional equipment in the future, depending on your areas of interest. You’ll be working alongside practice owner and clinical lead Jo Day, as well as our full time newly qualified vet, an experienced part time vet and a four strong, experienced, and forward-thinking nursing team. Our clinical team our all supported by an incredible client care team lead by Sarah, our experienced Practice Manager.
Jo qualified from Bristol in 1996 and has worked locally ever since, now running her own mature practice with an ever growing and varied client base. Jo is proficient in and performs boas surgery on a regular basis, and the team also benefits from the support of a travelling orthopaedic surgeon.

As a relatively small team, we’re looking for a vet with great communication skills and solid GP experience in both medicine and surgery. Primarily though we’re looking for a new colleague who will get involved, enjoy the variety and camaraderie of practice life, and is dedicated to delivering an outstanding level of care to our patients and clients.
Our days are structured well with 15-minute consults as standard and time taken for breaks and lunch factored into the day, as well as a daily supply of toast!
Our opening hours are 8:30am until 7:00pm Monday to Friday, and we’re happy to consider part time hours that suit you, during these times. We’re not open on Sundays and have a great relationship with our out of hours provider, so with just 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, we hope that all our team can enjoy a great work/life balance.
