Charlton Mackrell is a four-class, rural primary school with a strong Christian ethos. We are looking to recruit a permanent Caretaker. Previous experience of working in a school would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be reliable, flexible in their approach, self-motivated, energetic and keen to work as part of a team. The primary role will be: Providing a clean, safe and secure environment for pupils and staff and promote health and safety around the school. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation. Ensuring that the management and maintenance of the school buildings are effectively undertaken. Undertaking repairs and DIY where necessary and liaising with/supervising external contractors. Unlock/lock the school for outside of school hours visitors.
