Join Our Team as a Regional Training Officer (Job Share – 2 Days Per Week)
Location: Belfast-based (with potential travel across the UK and NI)
We are looking for a Regional Training Officer to join our team on a job-share basis (2 days per week).
Reporting to the Regional Training Manager, the Regional Training Officer will deliver training across all stations in their region, including classroom and practical sessions for new and existing employees. This is a regional role, so travel across the UK and Northern Ireland is essential.
As a subject matter expert in at least one area, you will also assist in various training programs. Collaborating with On the Job Coaches, you will ensure compliance with Swissport’s Training Policies while conducting regular assessments to maintain training standards.

Responsibilities
* Lead training activities according to the regional training plan and Swissport policies.
* Serve as the key contact for all training queries at your station, providing invaluable support to your colleagues.
* Manage third-party training provision and oversee training quality in compliance with CAA/IAA requirements.
* Coach and mentor On the Job Coaches.
* Deliever station inductions, up-skilling sessions, and mandatory revalidation training.
* Facilitate effective communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
* Organize training facilities and complete weekly training schedule.
* Ensure compliance with operating procedures, safety rules, and uniform requirements.
* Conduct regular audits of training delivery and participate in team meetings.
* Maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) standards for self and team.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role within a regional environment.
* Ability to effectively train and develop personnel using various methods tailored to different learning styles, ensuring comprehensive understanding and skill acquisition.
* Solid demonstratable experience of leading teams in a demanding, fast paced, heavily regulated environment that focuses on service delivery.
* Level 3 Train-the-Trainer Certification or equivalent: While not essential, this qualification would be advantageous.
