A well-known law firm in the legal 500 is seeking a Facilities Assistant on a 12-month contract to join their people-centric, growing, London-based team.
Paying up to £27,827 plus benefits, the Facilities Assistant will join a large operations team and will be involved in the day-to-day running of the busy office in central London. This is a great opportunity for someone who has roughly 6 months of experience in facilities and is looking to grow and progress their career in a reputable firm. While this is a 12-month contract initially, there will be opportunities for extension for the right candidate.
Duties will include:
1. Delivering and sending internal and external post to the employees within the firm
2. Replenishing stock (stationery, paper, envelopes, etc.)
3. Helping with office moves and relocations
4. Working closely with the Reprographics, Records, and Reception teams
5. Franking post and DX
6. Answering telephone calls to the department
7. Drafting and responding to email correspondence
8. Managing tickets using TopDesk
9. Setting up and reconfiguring meeting rooms as needed
10. Assisting with the reprographics service when necessary
11. Providing back-up support for post scanning when required
12. Assisting Records with the archiving of documents
13. Assisting Records with archiving of matters in Partner for Windows
14. Additional tasks that may arise and are relevant to the typical responsibilities of a Facilities department
The ideal candidate will have some facilities experience and a genuine interest in pursuing a career within facilities management. Limited experience is welcome; it’s more about attitude, willingness to learn, and getting stuck in! They are very team-oriented and hardworking, so they are looking for someone who is proactive with a willingness to learn.
