This role involves preparing vehicles for imaging and inventory, cleaning down vehicles and removing stickers and livery as promised to our clients.
Inventory & Destickering Duties
* Responsible for parts inventory of breakers, imaging and grading of panels and parts for our sales channels.
* Removed parts to be cleaned, tagged, imaged and packed and be ready for sending to despatch or warehouse.
* Inventory parts on vehicle and image using the PDA inventory matrix.
* Ensuring quality control every step of the way with no damages to vehicles or parts.
* Supporting with processing stock inventory based on decisions made on journey of stock, whether it be Parts Sales (breaker), Vehicle Sales (Auction) or ELV (end of life/scrap) to maximise value and return for SYNETIQ.
* Supporting GDPR & Salvage Personal Belonging Team with GDPR compliance & contractual SLA's.
* Destickering (taking stickers off vehicles) in line with client agreements and compliance.
* Maintaining the highest health & safety standards within work environment.
* Complete any training requirements for the role.
* General yard duties from time to time.
Qualifications
* Experience of working outside in all weathers.
* The ability to accurately record the damage of vehicles onto our system in a clear and concise manner.
* Able to work as part of a team.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good IT Skills and competent with a PDA.
* Previous experience working in a salvage site and knowledge and/or an interest in motor vehicles would also be desirable but not essential.
