We are a 22 bedded ward specialising in cardiology services providing excellent standards of care for those with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. We are a friendly team and work very closely with our colleagues in CCU and the Cardiac catheter suite.We pride ourselves on our standards of care and excellent team work. Working in a multi-disciplinary team, you will develop your leadership skills in patient care, management of a team and supporting junior members of the nursing team providing education and training. You will help to create safe effective rota's and help to support the ward manager to remain within an established budget. Like all parts of today's NHS, we manage an increasing caseload, and our staff will need to be flexible to meet the needs of our patients.
