Quality Lead (EMEA) Job Description
Blackfield Associates is partnered with a leading Global Consumer goods organisation to find a Quality Lead for the Europe and Africa regions on a 12-month contract.
As the Quality Lead, you will play a key role in managing quality systems and ensuring compliance across EMEA. This includes adhering to global regulatory standards such as MDD/MDR, ISO 13485, and MHRA requirements.
You will drive the quality strategy for new product launches, manage quality oversight, and champion compliance to deliver high-quality solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead quality and compliance activities across business operations, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and international regulatory standards.
* Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) for EMEA, including conducting audits, investigating product complaints, and implementing corrective actions.
* Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to develop and execute quality plans for product launches and updates.
* Analyse and monitor quality metrics to assess the effectiveness of the QMS, driving continuous improvement and ensuring full compliance with global standards.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Engineering, Quality, or Science, with extensive experience in technical quality roles within consumer products or medical devices.
They will have a strong understanding of MDD/MDR, ISO 13485, and MHRA requirements, with proven experience in quality systems and risk management.
Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and audit management skills are essential, alongside the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams and regions.
