We have an opportunity available for a floating Senior Support Worker to work across our residential rehabilitation service Kingshill based in Standish, Wigan, Greater Manchester, WN6 0AR and Ashwood Court Residential based in Lowton, Warrington, Cheshire, WA3 2RB.
Salary: £12.75 per hour.
Hours: 39 hours per week on a permanent contract. In addition, some sleep-in shifts will be required which are paid at an additional rate.
Access to own transport is essential for this role to commute between the services.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to supervise and delegate tasks to a dedicated team of support workers, ensuring that values-based support is delivered to the highest standards to the people we support.
You'll be supporting adults with various mental health conditions on a person-centered basis, from following care plans to administering medication and assisting with daily living.

Qualifications
As a Senior Support Worker, you will supervise staff members and delegate responsibilities ensuring values-based support is delivered to the highest standard. Support Worker experience is essential, and a level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent would be an advantage. You also need to be good at paperwork and accuracy and will be carrying out audits, writing care plans, and using computer systems to record information.
You will be supporting adults with mental health illnesses on a person-centered basis. Tasks will include following a care plan, medication administering, accessing the community, and domestic tasks such as support with shopping and daily living tasks.
The role will also be our wellbeing lead across both services.
