Overview
Key Duties (including but not limited to):
1. Responsible for the operational management of the group risk management team and the group risk management framework
2. Responsible for the monitoring and development of the risk and control register including reviewing sources of risk, risk response strategies and the effectiveness of the controls used to mitigate the risk(s) to the business
3. Responsible for the risk appetite and key risk indicator (KRI) frameworks including trended analysis of current assessments and an analysis of change against agreed tolerances/limits
4. Responsible the preparation of the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) reporting requirements including the annual ORSA report to Lloyd’s
5. Responsible with market initiatives including Sustainability/ESG and assessing the financial impacts from climate change
Qualifications required:
6. Holds a relevant Risk Management qualification (e.g., The International Certificate in Financial Services Risk Management etc.) desirable, but not essential
Experience required:
7. A detailed understanding of the Lloyd’s insurance market and the regulatory framework in which it operates
8. Minimum 10 years relevant industry experience
9. Lloyd’s and/or MGA experience would be advantageous
