Service is 8am - 8pm, regular weekend shifts, working long days or twilight shifts.

1. To perform assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs, and to provide advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non-professionals.
2. To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
3. To participate in continuing professional and service development and contribute to organisational objectives.

3. EXPERIENCE
Essential
* Experience of a junior rotational Physiotherapy post in the NHS
* Experience of a broad rotational scheme including Acute medicine
* Knowledge of areas of clinical governance including quality, audit and risk management
* Experience of managing own caseload and prioritizing
* Ability to work and interact effectively within an interdisciplinary team and contribute to decision making
* Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development, and reflective practice
* Knowledge and application of evidence based practice and clinical reasoning
* Establish and maintain CPD Portfolio
Desirable
* Experience in student clinical supervision.
* Experience of Community Physiotherapy
* Attendance at post graduate courses in related fields and demonstrates reflective learning.
* Knowledge of areas of influence of psychosocial and cultural factors on health/illness behaviours
* Experience in supervision of junior staff.
* Participation in audit, research activities and development activities
* Experience of undertaking Senior (Band 6) role
* Demonstration of having initiated change of practice or process
* Experience of emergency respiratory on-call responsibilities
2. EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

* Current registration with Health Professions Council
* Diploma /Degree in Physiotherapy
* Evidence of CPD in the form of a detailed personal development portfolio
