Calibration Manager - Salisbury
£44,000 - £49,000 per annum
The post holder will be responsible for proper planning and scheduling for laboratory instrument services including maintenance, repair, commissioning / decommissioning, validation and calibration of laboratory instruments. They will be responsible for reviewing all work to ensure performance, safety and statutory and regulatory compliance is adhered to at all times.
* Contract: Permanent, 44 - 49k per annum
* Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Participate in the development and implementation of quality initiative to address system inadequacies as well as to achieve continual quality improvement objectives.
2. Support and carry out quality initiatives to address system inadequacies. This may include implementing new procedures, tracking, analysing, reporting and problem-solving, whilst ensuring relevant site-wide Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to.
3. Participate in regulatory audits to demonstrate that operations are proceeding according to SOP practices, that routine testing of instrumentation achieves accurate results and that any identified shortcomings are documented and resolved through a systematic approach for continuous improvem...
