Title: M&A Analyst Start Date: August 2025 Location: London STEPHENS M&A ANALYST PROGRAM The Stephens M&A Analyst Program is a generalist program offering analysts intensive training led by Stephens bankers who have gone through the process themselves, and evolves into continuous on-the-job experience. Analysts assist junior and senior bankers in advising the firm’s clients, which include UK and European mid-market privately owned enterprises, large multinational organisations, private equity firms and family offices. Stephens’ program offers Analysts a unique opportunity to learn and prepare for a rewarding career in finance, while making significant contributions to our team. As an Analyst, you will work as an integral member of small, dedicated deal teams on a variety of M&A projects. Analysts' key responsibilities will be to support on the preparation of transaction marketing materials, valuation analyses and financial models, while gaining valuable direct exposure to senior bankers and our clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Analysts have a broad array of responsibilities that are executed alongside our senior bankers, as well as the senior management teams of our clients. These tasks include: Composing presentation materials including: tailored pitch books, Confidential Information Memorandums and other marketing materials; Developing detailed financial analysis for various types of transactions; Conducting quantitative and qualitative industry research and analysis; and Supporting on daily co-ordination of M&A processes. Our training program puts motivated Analysts on track for an Associate role at our firm. EDUCATION A strong academic record from a highly regarded university and on track to graduate prior to this position’s start date.
