We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced LGV Driver Class 1 (Tramper) to join our friendly team. This role is for general haulage which is our full vehicle load division where drivers deliver loads all over the country. The working hours are Monday to Friday an average of 48 hours per week. What we’d like to give you A salary of £36,000 pa Bonus of £10 per day worked (based on green band driving) £25 per night, night out subsistence allowance 23 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (increasing with length of service) Great pension scheme with life assurance Employee Assistance Programme WeCare 24/7 GP service, Dental App & Mental Health App Onsite parking Volunteer days Opportunities for training and career development Role Specific Responsibilities Basic requirements as identified in the RHA Professional Drivers Handbook Drive to a safe standard, considering the size of the vehicle Keep within the speed limits for the type and size of the vehicle you are driving Ensure that Vehicle daily checks are completed and that any defects are reported Report any issues and collect all paperwork from the Traffic Office Carry out deliveries in accordance with the planned route, contacting the Traffic Office immediately if any issues arise that impact your delivery schedule Contact the Traffic Office when all deliveries have been made for instructions on collections Return all paperwork to the Traffic Office at the end of each shift Wear the supplied uniform and correct PPE for each task as required by the Health & Safety Executive.
