Are you interested in supporting people at immediate risk of rough sleeping and making a real difference to the lives of people who are homeless?
We are currently looking for experience Assessment and Reconnection Workers who have a wide range of experience within the homelessness sector!
* As an Assessment and Reconnection Worker, your duties will include:
* Be part of a busy environment, working extremely closely to people who are vulnerable and at the risk of rough sleeping/or been rough sleeping.
* Provide a personalised case management to your clients and helping them move on.
* Build and maintain effective relationships to support clients throughout their time within your care.
* Develop a knowledge of relevant legislation such as welfare benefit and housing legislation.
* You will be required to work on a weekly rota, including early, mid and late shifts (some weekends may be required)
* Working with at least a case load of 10 clients at one time and having the enthusiasm to approach them with a personal centred approach.
* Working within a multi disciplinary team and having weekly meetings arrange to go through the progress of clients.
* Positive can do attitude and willing to go above and beyond for all clients, not just the ones in your case load.
About you:
* You must have at least a years experience working in a similar role in the past.
* Proactive and eager to get the job done.
* Have a good understanding of the complex issues faced by homeless people and the ability to manage complex behaviours and to deal with people who may be in a difficult personal or emotional situation, we encourage you to apply!
