Overview:
Our client is in the process of integrating a recently acquired company's customer data into the core Data ecosystem. This role involves articulating the vision and developing a long-term roadmap that can be executed through incremental transitions, unlocking value from the integration of two clients' customer data via prioritized business adoption. The key aspect of this role is working cross-functionally with both businesses' technology and data product teams to set a clear direction to achieve desired outcomes while maintaining flexibility in delivery.
You will be responsible for building the strategy and roadmap for this integration and delivering change. Please note, this is not a project or programme management role.
Responsibilities:
1. Set the vision and define the transition stages for the Customer Data & Analytics integration, focusing on the Customer Data Domain.
2. Address complex problems by balancing short-term and long-term value delivery, considering customer, regulatory, and commercial impacts of data migration within the main Customer Data ecosystem. Analytical decision-making and issue resolution are essential.
3. Prioritize effectively to enable targeted synergy benefits for Digital Experience and Marketing, through efficiency improvements and data solutions that support business growth.
4. Collaborate with Data Product Owners, Business Units, Architecture, and Data teams to drive the integration plan and ensure business readiness for MI, Digital Martech, Customer Science, and digital customer experience initiatives.
5. Define and manage standards, requirements, and solutions for customer master data management, analytics data warehousing, data quality, security, access, retention, and risk management.
6. Lead all aspects of customer data integration delivery and manage business change across digital, marketing, and Business Units.
7. Demonstrate value delivery by setting clear objectives, measuring success, and regularly communicating progress to senior stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience leading large-scale data projects, with a strong technical background in data & analytics and a platform product mindset.
2. Experience in defining data operating models and articulating the value of data to the enterprise.
3. Expertise in developing and leading teams to deliver top-tier technology solutions, with strong stakeholder engagement skills in complex organizational structures.
