Job Title: Installations Support Engineer Location: Crawley, with travel across the UK and Europe Who are we recruiting for? What will you be doing? As a key member of the Installations team, you'll be instrumental in ensuring successful implementation of cutting-edge solar technology across high-profile projects. Working closely with the Installations Manager and collaborating with the Engineering, Projects, and Commercial teams, your responsibilities will include: Supporting installation design and component selection to deliver high-performing systems Coordinating delivery logistics and installer engagement for product deployment Delivering practical, on-site training and support for installers Specifying and setting up control systems, wiring, and configurations Commissioning systems to ensure performance and safety standards Troubleshooting, inspecting, and resolving technical issues post-installation Managing warranty support and ongoing client satisfaction Developing technical documentation, manuals, and training resources Are you the ideal candidate? This role would suit a confident and motivated individual with: A strong background in heating and hot water systems in domestic or commercial settings Hands-on site experience in installation and maintenance A technical qualification in science or engineering, with NVQ3/SVQ3 or equivalent Familiarity with CIBSE design guides and construction site procedures The ability to interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics confidently Working knowledge of solar thermal, solar PV systems, and ideally heat pumps Understanding of UK health and safety legislation Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset Bonus points if you have: BPEC, LCL, or EAL Level 3 certifications in relevant renewable technologies Experience within an entrepreneurial or fast-growth business environment Knowledge of international solar energy regulations and incentives What's in it for you?
