The Role.
A rare opportunity has become available for an eager and energetic sales professional to take over the Southern Region (East and West Sussex, Surrey and RG Berkshire) of this International Lighting Company. With over 30 Area Sales Managers covering the country, you will be well supported. You will report directly to the Regional Director.
You will be looking after and growing accounts within wholesale customers by:
* Developing relationships with Wholesale Branch Managers, Buyers, and Trade Counters
* Following monthly call plans to ensure all your customers are visited each month
* Targeting upcoming project opportunities
* Assisting wholesalers to specify your products to their customers through training and product advice
You will complete monthly reporting and present to your peers at a monthly divisional sales meeting, sharing customer developments, new initiatives, and ideas.

What We’re Looking For.
You need to have a stable, well-developed background in a sales or account management role with either a lighting manufacturer or electrical wholesaler – and if you’ve done both then this would be fantastic. However, our clients need to see longevity in your career to date. You need to be self-motivated, professional, and enquiring; be a self-starter and maintain good working relationships. Customer service is essential here, responding to enquiries and information requests quickly and professionally, assisting customers with any technical assistance they need is key.
