Dispatch & Planning Administrator - Sheffield - JR2410_0144 'Join our Healthcare Dedicated warehouse journey to excellence Join us as a Picking and Dispatch Administrator with a dynamic, passionate, growth-focused team' YOUR ROLE The purpose of this role is to plan the internal workload for picking and preparation of orders in line with customer requirements and to align transport providers to ensure they meet the delivery requirements of customers. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Create Shipments within the electronic stock management system, in line with customer requirements. Prepare and process delivery documentation and produce dispatch information for carriers for full pallet traffic, including any Dangerous Goods Notes (DGN's) as required, for all customers Ensure goods are prepared for dispatch with relevant pallets labels in line with receiver's requirements Liaise with the external haulage providers to ensure they support the operation in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Liaising with line manager for organising courier services for any same day customer requests as and when required Ensures that all Post Goods Issuing of orders is completed in line with customer requirements Provide details of delivery information to customers and gain bookings Ensure that all issues are dealt with promptly, effectively and in a professional manner. Ensure relevant Customer Service trackers are kept up to date daily Recording / raising TIP's (Deviations to process) Work as part of the office support team Responsible for own personal Health and Safety as well as ensuring the work area within which they and their teamwork is safe and in line with Health and Safety standards Knowledge of Good Distribution Practise (GDP) Issue Dangerous Goods Notes as and when required Assist in the implementation of relevant projects when necessary. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Experience of pharma & healthcare supply chain Experience in Contract Logistics warehouse administration with the ability to deal with both internal and external customers Excellent communication and organisational skills Self-starter capable of working with minimum supervision Flexible and able to work accurately under pressure in a very busy environment Experience on managing any Dangerous Goods Notes (DGN's) is preferable. Be a team player with the self-drive to be pro-active and add value in a dynamic and changing organisation. Be proficient MS Excel user and familiar with working on Stock Management System.
