We are looking for a Process Engineer responsible for defining, developing, and verifying aftermarket documentation for vehicle servicing and maintenance. Investigate and document high-priority issues. Review and improve aftermarket processes for efficiency, safety, quality, and cost. Identify and implement new concepts, processes, and technology to enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer service. The Role: Responsible for creating detailed and user-friendly service manual instructional/guides, for various service tasks. Support aftermarket technical investigations within the field, manufacturing and engineering support functions. Identify, investigate, and resolve high-priority vehicle issues in coordination with field and engineering teams. Gather and analyse all relevant data to address and document investigations comprehensively. Prepare detailed 8D-style summary reports for end customers, outlining the issues, investigation processes, and resolutions. Responsible for product support on a daily basis, utilising problem-solving techniques. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in handling aftermarket issues. Facilitate effective communication and coordination between field teams and engineering teams, ensuring all relevant information is shared promptly and accurately to expedite issue resolution. Determine, improve and sustain workflows that realise seamless aftermarket technical support. To ensure product process maps are in the most optimum and up to date condition. To effectively coordinate the achievement of departmental audit objectives. The Requirements HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering / related discipline or equivalent qualification. or Level 3 Engineering qualification with 5 years relevant experience Have working experience within manufacturing, automotive or engineering industry Knowledge of manufacturing processes. Experience in problem solving on a production line. Experience in Technical report writing Problem solving abilities. Excellent communication skills. Computer literate in MS Office applications. Engineering report writing. Experience of, and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
