TRANSPORT OPERATOR MONDAY - FRIDAY: OR £13.00 PER HOUR People Solutions are pleased to be working with a well-known distribution company to support their Transport office. You will be working Monday - Friday but there will be rare occasions, normally twice per year, where weekend working is required for stocktake activities. Whilst working with People Solutions, you will have access to our online Worker Portal where you can view your weekly pay slips and book your holidays You will also have access to our fantastic Employee Assistance Program where you can receive discounts & offers for you and your family Day to Day Duties Liaising with the transport managers and admin teams to ensure all drivers have the correct paperwork for their routes Taking / making calls from / to end delivery sites to book in the deliveries Discussing any route changes or start time changes with drivers General admin duties Tracking of vehicle information, such as logging faults or booking repairs and MOTs etc. Liaising with the warehouse to ensure goods are ready for vehicles coming in to collect / deliveries to go out Essential Skills Excellent communication skills. Competent in Microsoft packages, including Word & Excel Committed and driven to achieve high standards Desirable Experience Transport operational experience Having worked in a similar transport environment Training Training provided.
