Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologist – Echo London: The Harley Street Clinic Full time - 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday Contract Type: Permanent Salary Range- Competitive dependent upon skills and experience We are an Accredited Department of the British Society of Echocardiography and hold accreditation in Training to BSE Proficiency Standard and Transthoracic Echocardiography. The Harley Street Clinic, currently rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, are recruiting for a Cardiac Physiologist with a specialist interest in Echo to assist in providing a high quality, patient centred, Cardiac Investigations service. To be considered for this role, you must possess BSE accreditation and have proof of continued professional development, excellent communication and customer care skills. You will work closely with the senior management team in devising workforce strategies and planning to deliver policy changes and service developments. The role requires: To be proficient at performing transthoracic echocardiography independently to BSE/EACVI standards. To perform a range of highly complex diagnostic echocardiograms (challenging cases such as inherited cardiomyopathies, oncology patients, stroke, high risk inpatients in Intensive care settings) on adults with a broad spectrum of pathology, in both outpatient and inpatient environments, at independent level Perform analyse and report all routine investigations within Non-invasive Cardiac department including electrocardiography, ECG Holter analysis, BP analysis, Stress ECG. Support with stock check and management Perform regular audits to ensure reports have been added to CVIS/ISCV and authorised Support with Clinical Governance/DATIX, Complaints Assist and support Lead Cardiac Physiologist operational tasks At HCA UK we care about what you care about. What you’ll bring: Transthoracic (TTE) Level 2 accreditation by the British Society of Echocardiography or Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography Certification by the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent Post accreditation Experience in Echo.
