Lettings Negotiator - Permanent position - Belfast BT5 -
We are recruiting for a Lettings Negotiator with strong administration skills for our client based in the Belfast area.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, flexible, and have excellent communication skills, especially on the telephone. This role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, is adaptable, and excels at managing multiple tasks under pressure.
Main Responsibilities would include:
1. Listing properties
2. Organising market appraisals
3. Bringing on new business
4. Agreeing the letting fees with landlords
5. Trying to swap landlords from the Let Only (non-managed) service to our managed service
6. Building a relationship with all our sales branches to ensure they are passing any rentals our way to increase listings and agreeds.
7. Carrying out block viewings on her Saturday (usually every 3 rd Saturday) in a range of 1-5 properties. (viewings only carried out on a Saturday)
8. Adding and Dealing with applications – getting more information from applicants, shortlisting who you think is best for the property.
9. Agreeing the properties to the tenants
10. Negotiating lease terms (term in months, rental amount)
11. Dealing with the tenant from agreeing the property until their move in day
12. Dealing with the landlord from listing the property to the tenant’s move in day
13. Commission/bonus structure with targets to meet to achieve this.
Requirements:
* Valid UK driving license car owner (Preferred)
* Previous experience in an administrative role within an office environment, preferably in the property industry
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong administrative and organisational skills, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A positive "can do" attitude, willing to go above and beyond to provide great customer service.
* Be a confident, highly organised and efficient administrator with a keen eye for detail and who can work well under pressure
* You must be Word/Excel proficient
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 (may be negotiable depending on experience)
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30 plus one Saturday (09:30-12:30) every 3 weeks based on a rota.
