Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role:

* Work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting their learning, communication, and emotional development
* Assist with personalised learning programmes and therapeutic activities tailored to each pupil’s needs
* Implement effective behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
* Collaborate with a team of teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals in a highly supportive setting

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Candidate Profile:
We’re looking for graduates who are:
* Educated to degree level with a 2:1 or above in any subject (Psychology, Education, or related fields are advantageous)
* Passionate about working with children and young people with additional needs
* Emotionally resilient, patient, and adaptable to the varied challenges of a specialist school environment
* Confident communicators who can build trusting relationships with students and staff
* Experienced in working with children or young people in any capacity – such as mentoring, tutoring, coaching, volunteering, or care work (preferred but not essential)
