Group HR Manager
Are you a dynamic HR leader ready to make a real impact? We are seeking an experienced Group HR Manager to join our growing organization. In this standalone role, you will provide a full range of HR generalist support from both an operational and strategic perspective across multiple sites.
Role Overview:
As Group HR Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership teams, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure the people agenda aligns with business goals. You will lead HR strategy, oversee people-related budgets, and champion the development of policies and initiatives to foster a positive, compliant, and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement people strategies to achieve organizational goals.
* Manage budgets related to recruitment, training, and employee engagement.
* Coach and support managers to enhance their people leadership skills.
* Oversee employee training and development activities.
* Lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee benefits management (pensions, life assurance, EAP, private health).
* Serve as the lead on employee relations to ensure compliance with employment law.
What We’re Looking For:
* CIPD Level 7 qualification in Human Resources Management.
* Proven experience in a similar HR generalist role.
* A track record of coaching and developing managers.
* Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best HR practices.
* Experience in an engineering or technical environment is highly desirable.
The Package:
* Salary: £55,000 per annum
* Car Allowance: £6,500
* Benefits: Private healthcare, life assurance (4x salary), Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
* Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
* Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
* Travel: Occasional monthly travel to other UK sites (2–3 days).
