* Hourly Rate: £17.12 per hour
* Location: Belfast
* Hours: 37 hrs/week, Monday to Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm)
* Duration: Temporary, ongoing
* Holidays: 35 days pro rata

This role represents a great opportunity for you to develop your accounting knowledge, skills, experience and career opportunities within a diverse business environment with a turnover in excess of £1.2bn per annum. Key responsibilities:
* Deliver day-to-day management accounting and reporting for a division.
* Support budget holders with reports, investigate variances, and advise on corrective actions.
* Manage the operation of the finance section, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
* Maintain financial systems, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and standards.
* Liaise with senior staff on finance matters and provide performance updates.
* Assist with reports, investigations, and contribute to business improvements.
* Deputise for the Team Accountant as needed.
Criteria:
Hold one of the following:
* AAT/IATI final exams, or
* Foundation papers of a CCAB body, or
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
And 3 years' experience in 3 of the following:
* Budget setting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Preparation of statutory accounts.
* Business process improvements within finance.
* Team management in a finance environment.
* Use of integrated financial management systems and advanced spreadsheets.
* Writing reports using SAP Business Objects/Crystal report tools.
* Finance systems implementation projects.
* As part of the reference checking and vetting process for this position you will be requested to undertake a Basic Access NI Disclosure. Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
