New Business Sales Consultant (Employee Benefits) - Salary + attractive bonus package
Mercer Marsh Benefits have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an Employee Benefits New Business Sales Consultant.
The role is focused on new business development, within SME organisations. You will work mainly virtually via Zoom or Teams with some phone work but this is not a cold-calling role with the majority of leads provided. We are a dynamic team that is built on trust and respect, and we pride ourselves on adapting to change quickly to meet the busy demands of our business and our clients.

4. MMB will require and support industry qualifications. Typically, these include IF7 (Healthcare), GR1 (Protection) & IF1 (General Insurance)
We will count on you to:
1. Once fully trained, compliant and competent, you will manage multiple new business projects, across multiple lines of business
2. Using your excellent communication skills, you will be able to lead client meetings asking open & closed questions to understand customer requirements and deliver solutions to cater for their needs.
What you need to have:
1. Previous Employee Benefits experience
2. Strong relationship building skills and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
3. An ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment
4. Strong IT skills, preferably in Microsoft programs including Excel, Office and Word.
5. Good levels of education including Grade C/4 or 5 pts GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
6. Willingness to develop and progress
