My client are a prestigious government organisation, with offices in Southampton.
They're seeking a an interim Security Business Analyst who will be instrumental in supporting a programme of work that is currently being initiated, that will introduce new technologies and capabilities to strengthen the IT security posture.
This position is a 6 month contract, and a live SC Clearance is essential.
It would highly desirable that the candidate has experience of working in cyber security programmes previously.
The daily rate for this position is £475.00 - £525.00 and the position falls inside IR35.
This role is for 6 months to assist the Security team with the creation of the requirements in support of the Invitation to Tender ITT, to assist with the creation of the technical specifications for the different technologies, and to assist with analysing the vendor submissions during the tender to ensure that the best outcome is realised.
Deliverables in relation to this role:
* Requirements gathering is already underway, however they are looking for the successful candidate take the lead role on validating functional and non-functional requirements. To assist with the establishment of the outcomes required to define low-level scope for each Security project, ensuring they are clear, concise, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
* To assist with establishing the Tender documentation and the establishment of Tender questions for vendor evaluation.
* Support the evaluation of vendor submissions, to assist with their scoring and the management of the scoring phase. To ensure that process is followed, and the best outcome is realised.
* Provide support during the initiation of the constituent projects within the SOC Programme.
* To support the Security Programme Manager and Security Project Officer with the detailed planning phase.
* To manage the stakeholder relationships during the discovery phase of the Security Programme to ensure stakeholders are kept involved and up to date.
