Prince Henry’s is an over-subscribed comprehensive school with over 1660 students, including around 350 in the Sixth Form. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher of Health & Social Care to join the Communications & Media Technology Faculty at Prince Henry's Grammar School. Health & Social Care is a popular subject at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. The number of students opting for Health & Social Care shows that the subject is continuing to grow and, with commitment, drive and enthusiasm for the subject, it is hoped that the profile of the subject will continue to develop, and that it will continue to be an outstanding subject within the Communications & Media Faculty. This post would be ideal for either an ECT looking to complete their year 1 and/or 2 in a fantastic and supportive school, or indeed a more established teacher.
The successful candidate will have:
* The ability to teach KS4 and KS5
* The ability to enthuse, inspire and motivate students
* Degree or other appropriate qualification in Health and Social Care
* Secondary QTS, or moving towards it
* A commitment to Continuing Professional Development
