Internal Sales Executive
Milton Keynes (fully office based)
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum plus bonus and fantastic benefits
Our large manufacturing client is looking for a passionate, commercially aware internal sales executive to join their team based in Milton Keynes. As an Internal Sales Executive, you must have previous manufacturing, aerospace or metals experience to help understand your clients' needs, motivations, and long-term plans. You will need to be able to build strong relationships based on trust with the contractual buyers, use spreadsheets to aid in forecasting and order book management.
Your main duties and responsibilities will consist of:
* Completion of sales quotations
* Supporting the creation of strategic proposals and bids
* Recognising and helping develop areas of profitable growth for contractual accounts
* Coordination of activities both internal and external to ensure contract deliverables are met
* Maintain regular customer stock lists & SAP contract reports and manage inventory levels
* Work in conjunction with sales support to provide efficient and effective customer service
* Ensure all functions are performed in accordance with compliance requirements
* Seek out opportunities for Materials as a Service ethos
* Develop accounts to Key Account status and pass upstream
Your profile
Essential:
* Sales contract management experience
* Aerospace, metals, or manufacturing knowledge
* Proven track record of customer development
* Commercial awareness & negotiation skills
* Customer service focus
* Analytical skills
* Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
* PC literate with a strong working knowledge of Windows-based applications
