About the role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons, support classroom management and provide targeted one-to-one and small group support. Key responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging classroom content
* Support student learning through small group work and one-to-one assistance
* Help assess student progress and contribute to feedback and marking
* Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
* Collaborate with staff and school activities, meetings and professional development sessions
* Record and monitor student behaviour and development
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Passionate about education and student development
* Flexible, proactive and a natural team player
* Skilled in communication and relationship building
* Eager to grow professionally and take initiative
* Previous experience working with children and young people in the UK is essential
* Experienced (or has an interest) in supporting SEND and/or SEMH learners
What you’ll need:
* Previous experience in an educational setting is beneficial
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* An enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
