Let’s make a difference together. The Role The role of HR Advisor is new to CYFOR but is key for making us ready for our next stage of growth. The right candidate will be equally adept at managing the employee life cycle from end to end and the employee relations process, but at the same time building relationships within the organisation Working together proactively to create a highly collaborative and supportive environment to enable everyone in the business to thrive and be the best version of themselves. Applicants MUST have been continuously resident in the United Kingdom for the last 5 years. Main Responsibilities This varied and stand-alone role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and the C-Suite. You will:- Manage the entire employee life cycle from end to end. Developing and enhance communication at each stage, you will collaborate closely with Senior Managers and Directors and manage The creation of Job descriptions and the placing of recruitment adverts via our ATS. Sifting candidates and the interview process. Raising and the sending out of job offers, employment contracts and other relevant documentation. The onboarding and inductions processes, ensuring regular contact is made with candidates both before and after they join. The probation processes including employee benefits administration. 1-1’s, appraisals and the promotions process. Ensuring meetings are documented and goals/targets are followed up and time bound. Regular employee satisfaction surveys. Training programs, working with managers to identify skills gaps and develop required programs. Exit process and interviews Maintain and update our People HR system, along with policies and procedures, suggesting changes, implementing improvements and improving automation. Manage the employee relations process, ensuring compliance to legislative, HR and company standards. Providing guidance to managers on handling employee relations matters, coaching them on effective conversations and people management. Manage, develop and promote the company wellbeing programme ensuring appropriate support for employees while balancing business needs Ultimately helping to develop the company culture, including company values and behaviours. Building Trust within the organisation and helping to improve staff retention rates. Produce monthly HR reports including measuring KPI’s. Promote equality and diversity in the business Assist with some office functions, such as answering the phones and ensuring a clean desk policy. To always dress and act in a professional manner. To lead by example, demonstrating professionalism to colleagues commensurate with post. To comply with safe working practices. To participate and reasonably engage in the Annual Staff review process. Any other tasks that may be required from time to time. Skills and Experience A highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individual who can work with utmost tact and diplomacy. Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar HR generalist role and used to a stand alone role. Open personality with the ability to engage with all colleagues and engender trust. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Impeccable attention to detail and organisational skills. CIPD Level 5 or similar Qualifications, but not a prerequisite for the role.
