Renumeration £50-£60k base package 24 Days of Annual Leave plus bank holidays Travel to be paid into DA28DP office (if within a commutable distance from the office) Pension The Role We are seeking a front end developer to join our product team and help us build a new workforce management solution. This is an exciting new product line that responds to the strong customer demand and feedback we've had since launching the UpRate jobs platform. The Front End Developer role will be a member of the company's executive team, designing the front end of the new web and mobile platform which will revolutionise how companies find and manage their full time and contract workforce within the construction sector. You will own the continued development of our Flutter codebase, working as part of the product team to continuously improve our web and mobile app offering. The successful candidate will be working within a small development team formed of five people. Experience Ideally candidates would have 3/4 years experience of front end web and/or mobile app development.The company uses a hybrid deployment, utilising the Dart programming language and Flutter framework to build both our web and mobile apps from a single codebase. Whilst you would ideally have existing Dart or Flutter experience, this is not mandatory as we are happy to train the right candidate. Existing web and/or mobile development experience would be advantageous. Candidate Requirements Ability to work within an agile environment using a framework such as Scrum or Kanban. Ability to work with various software packages that can assist with the build of the platform, e.g. for code management, GitHub. Detailed understanding of a front-end framework and libraries (e.g. Angular, React or ViewJS) and UI/UX design. Some understanding (experience would be beneficial but not essential) working with a hybrid mobile application using one of Flutter, React Native, Capacitor, Xamarin, or Cordova. Practical experience working with automated unit and integration testing tools and frameworks such as Jest/Angular, Cypress or Selenium. Knowledge and experience of CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of mobile app delivery processes for Android and iPhone. Snr Full Stack Developer Designs the end-to-end platform architecture and manages the development team and Azure infrastructure. Snr Product Designer Figma Designer, building the UI/UX for the project, whilst also working closely with the Product Manager and development team through design reviews. One Front End Developer executing the majority of the front end code base.
