Position: Customer Service Representative II
Location: partially remote - on-site day 1 to pick up/set up equipment and 2x a month moving forward
Estimated Duration: The client approximates that this project may last up to 3 months. However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time. This is a contract to hire position.
Pay Rate Range: $18/hr.
Project Description: As a Customer Service Specialist II, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Customer Service Specialist II joining our team to provide support via the telephone and/or Internet to resolve routine issues and respond to customer inquiries. You will be answering inbound phone calls from Medicaid Providers for billing or enrollment. These calls are not scripted; there is knowledge to be learned to understand and help the providers with their Medicaid claims.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
* Takes and processes transactions by telephone, internet and correspondence from customers and representatives.
* Enters and maintains database records of customer profiles and prepares and maintains status reports.
* Acts as liaison for customers.
* Maintains knowledge of company products and customer service processes.

Requirements:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED.
* Required Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience.
* Required Technical Skills:
o Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Required Skills and Abilities:
o Strong telephone and verbal communication skills.
o Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types.
o Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
* Location: Hybrid and on-site at Riverview Center, Menands, NY.
