Job Title: Process Engineer
This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally leading chemical manufacturing company as a Process Engineer. The company is investing heavily on its site over the next few years, with multiple multi-million pound projects underway to provide upgrades and renovations.
The Process Engineer will play a critical role in the ongoing operation of this key manufacturing company, which is relied upon by many industries.
* Support the Operations Leader in defining weekly maintenance priorities to minimize impact on product commitments.
* Analyze OEE losses and propose improvement plans in conjunction with the operative team. Implement OEE tools to capture losses in real-time and support developing improvements to increase site capacity.
* Provide day-to-day troubleshooting support, mainly related to software and technical/quality issues. Diagnose and solve problems, and initiate MOC and RCA if required.
* Implement Lean Six Sigma tools to drive process improvements.
* Participate in a professional development program to support career progression within the company.
Requirements: A strong technical background with experience in a production or operations environment on a chemical site (preferably a COMAH site). A minimum qualification of a Chemical Process Engineering degree or equivalent and 5-10 years' experience are required.
