A Financial Reporting Analyst opportunity is available at this leading professional services firm with an enviable reputation for service delivery and client solutions. Due to strong growth across all service lines and winning new business, the organisation is now seeking a newly created Finance Analyst to provide regular financial reports tailored to individual service and client teams.
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Analyst:
* Deliver accurate client reports - Ensure timely and precise completion of complex financial reporting.
* Enhance reporting processes - Document and refine reporting workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
* Implement client management information - Develop and maintain management information solutions pulling data from multiple systems and senior stakeholders.
* Support customised reporting - Understand internal and external needs to provide tailored and accurate reporting solutions.
* Collaborate on data improvements - Work with internal teams, including IT Developers, to enhance reporting and data accuracy.
Skills & Attributes of the Financial Reporting Analyst:
* Continuous improvement mentality – with 2+ years experience in a corporate environment with an appetite to improve process and your own knowledge.
* Strong attention to detail - fastidious approach to minimise errors ensuring a seamless process and reduce queries.
* Advanced Excel proficiency - demonstrable experience in creating reports using VLOOKUP’s & pivot tables.
* Data visualisation expertise – Prior exposure to data visualisations such as Power BI or Tableau would be highly advantageous.
* Deadline-driven mindset - Proven ability to meet strict reporting timelines.
* Excellent communication skills - Capable of building trust with external clients and senior internal stakeholders.
