Field Service Engineer - The Role:
* Servicing and maintaining a range of Machine Tool products with customers across the UK.
* Attending faults, diagnosing problems, and rectifying machines.
* Replacing parts where required and suggesting service needs.
* Liaising with Technical support, Service Management, and Customer Services.
* Undertaking planned maintenance of machines.
* Identifying parts required and ordering via Service/Spares department.
* Explaining machine faults, findings, and repairs undertaken to customers.
* Providing great customer service and achieving high customer satisfaction/feedback.
* Identifying sales opportunities and passing these onto the Sales department.
Field Service Engineer - The Person:
* Electrical or Mechanical engineering apprentice trained.
* Manufacturing engineering / Machine Tool background.
* Minimum of 5 years’ Service Engineer, Machine Tool experience desired.
* Understanding of electrical wiring diagrams.
* Understanding of CNC control systems.
* Must have a Full, valid UK driving licence.
* Flexible attitude to travel and staying away from home.
This role is open to Engineers from Junior to Senior level. Junior level engineers will be put through extensive training on site, so they must be based in the Sheffield area. More experienced Engineers can live anywhere in the UK with good transport links.
