Alfa Leisureplex Group has an opportunity for a Hotel Maintenance Operative to join the team at The Cavendish Hotel, Exmouth. As a Hotel Maintenance Operative, you will work 10 - 15 hours per week, including weekends with an hourly rate of £13.25, regardless of age, which will be increased to £14.02 in April 2025!
Hotel Maintenance Operative Responsibilities:
As a Hotel Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for all general maintenance around the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction is prioritized while adhering to all health and safety regulations. You will log and fix issues in guest bedrooms and public areas promptly and efficiently. You will also get involved in larger projects and liaise with third-party contractors if you have a particular area of expertise. Compliance will be a key part of your role, ensuring weekly and monthly checks are completed as required. You will assist during the winter works program to ensure the hotel is well maintained and presentable, ready for the start of a new season.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience in a similar role
2. Strong communication skills
3. A practical problem solver who takes pride in their work
4. Customer focused, with the ability to prioritize

1. Previous experience in a trade environment
2. Knowledge of the travel, tourism, and hospitality industry
