Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant

Salary: £84 - £95 per day

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH), helping them overcome barriers to learning. You will play a key role in re-engaging students, building positive relationships, and implementing behaviour management strategies to create a supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs
* A proactive and confident approach to behaviour management
* The ability to develop and implement tailored strategies to support student engagement
* A collaborative mindset to work closely with teachers and support staff
* A background in psychology, counselling, social work, or a related field (desirable but not essential)
* Knowledge of behaviour management techniques or a willingness to learn
* Team Teach training or previous SEMH experience is highly desirable
