Service Tech - Experienced (Tri-Cities, TN AREA)

Our technicians work alongside branch managers, dispatchers, and other team members, including trainees, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on excellent service.
This position does not follow a typical 8-5 schedule; hours may vary based on workload and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units (e.g., Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett).
2. Troubleshoot and repair electronic POS systems (e.g., VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR).
3. Install, program, and test new petroleum equipment.
4. Analyze electrical and mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
5. Conduct scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance on fueling systems.
6. Communicate technical issues to customers in a clear, non-technical manner.
Experience, Competencies, and Education:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Valid state-issued driver’s license with a good driving record.
* At least 2+ years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining gasoline dispensing units, including hydraulics and submerged pump units.
* Valid dispenser certification(s).
Physical requirements include working outdoors in all weather conditions, daily local travel, and lifting 50-75 lbs.
