We are lookingfor an experienced Practice Manager to lead our team in continuing to provide a high standard of service toour local patient population, whilst meeting our business objectives and deliveryof key targets across the full range of clinical and administrative areaswithin the practice.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping thesuccess of the practice, working collaboratively with the GP Partners andwithin a well-rounded, supportive and stable team.
Experienceof primary care is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have astrong understanding of practice finance, proven people management across arange of roles and excellent organisational skills.

Main duties of the job
To work closely with the GP Partnersin developing and maintaining an efficient and productive GP practice. ThePractice Manager will be responsible for all aspects of managing the Practiceincluding:
1. Strategic planning to enhancepractice growth and service delivery.
2. Financial management of thebusiness.
3. Leadership and motivation of theteam.
4. Patient services andsatisfaction.
5. Staff recruitment, retention anddevelopment.
6. Compliance with NHS contractual,regulatory requirements and quality standards (including CQC, data protection,information governance and health and safety)
7. Dealing with formal complaints.

Based in a modern,purpose-built surgery within Woodley Health Centre (close to junction 25 on the M60), our multi-disciplinary team includes 4GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, Advanced Practitioner, Practice Pharmacist, 2Practice Nurses, 2 Healthcare assistants, reception and administrative support,plus a share of associated professionals including First Contact Practitioners,Wellbeing and Self-care coordinators and pharmacists through our Primary CareNetwork (PCN)
The practicemanager is well supported by the GP Partners andmanagement team.
We are part of StockportEast and South Primary Care Network (PCN) in which the practice managers enjoy a supportive and collaborative working relationship.

11. Good standard of education with excellent literacy and numeracy skills

12. Educated to degree level in healthcare or business.
13. A relevant qualification in practice management (IGPM), business management or equivalent.

15. An understanding of practice finance and business knowledge.
