An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person who is passionate about providing a high quality Sexual Health service in our Chichester clinic. Our Chichester clinic is based within the outpatients department of St Richards Hospital, and is part of the West Sussex Integrated Sexual Health Service which also runs services in Worthing, Crawley, Horsham and Bognor.The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team of nursing and administration staff. They will work with the operational group to ensure the service meets contractual expectations and key performance indicators.As part of the multi-disciplinary team of nursing, admin and medical staff the post holder will demonstrate excellent clinical skills, be trained in both GUM and contraception and should also hold a LOC for implant removal and fitting. They will have experience in managing a department on a regular basis and in managing staff with experience in recruitment, sickness management, competency and
disciplinary. They will be expected to uphold the values of the Trust and follow a patient first approach to improving the quality of care for patients and to build and embed a culture where staff are confident raise their views be heard.

If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses., The post holder will lead on the provision of the Integrated Sexual Health Service (ISHS) within the locality (hub and spokes). Responsible for the management of the nursing and administration team within the hub.
Works with the Operational Group to ensure the service design and processes meet local and national initiatives, targets, contractual expectations and key performance indicators, demonstrating the planning and implementation of an integrated model for sexual health.
Acts as a role model for best practice, demonstrating Trust Values and providing specialist knowledge and advice to other staff both within the service and in partner agencies.
Assesses patients/clients, plans, implements care, provides specialist procedures and advice which are up to date and evidence based, delivering factual and current information on all methods of contraception, sexual health, health promotion, health checks and other relevant services which will lead to empowering clients to make their own decision and appropriate choice for their sexual health. Maintains associated records
Supports service wide staff and visiting undergraduate and graduate students in the achievement of competencies, ensuring the department provides appropriate learning opportunities.
