Role Overview: As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), you will provide personal care and support to adult males with learning disabilities. Your role will include assisting with day-to-day activities, promoting independence, and supporting the individuals to lead meaningful lives. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and create a positive, respectful environment for our residents. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care, including assistance with dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility. Support residents with social activities, hobbies, and interests to enhance their quality of life. Assist with behaviour management and support plans tailored to each individuals needs. Build trusting relationships and provide emotional support to residents. Work with the team to implement care plans and promote the residents' physical and mental well-being. Help to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other staff to ensure continuity of care. Key Requirements: Experience in care or a similar environment is desirable A genuine passion for working with adults with learning disabilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships. Ability to be patient, empathetic, and understanding in all situations. A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
